A little about me

I’m Akshay Malhotra, an advocate and public-policy practitioner focused on strengthening institutions and making the state work better for citizens. I practice before India’s apex courts in constitutional, criminal, and administrative matters advising clients, drafting writs and PILs, and shaping litigation strategy with a clear bias for due process and outcomes.

Alongside practice, I’ve worked with government teams to turn policy into delivery designing citizen-facing programs (including Delhi’s Doorstep Delivery of Services), building grievance-redressal mechanisms, tightening media and communications workflows, and creating the operating discipline needed to sustain results.

My academic training spans Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration. In 2022, as a U.S. State Department Professional Fellow, I collaborated with the Ohio General Assembly, deepening my understanding of how legislation, oversight, and public administration translate into measurable change.
